The Alabama Department of Early Childhood Education (ADECE) supports the Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) in the implementation of the federally funded Early Head Start – Child Care Partnership Grant (EHS-CCP). Coaches, Quality Specialists, and Mental Health Consultant provide the following services, guided by the Head Start Performance Standards (1302 Subpart C – Education and Child Development Program Services), (1302 Subpart D – Social Emotional Wellbeing), (1302 Subpart I – Training Professional Development) and Early Learning Outcomes Framework (ELOF). EHS-CCP partners with Child Care Centers and Family Home Providers serving vulnerable populations across the state of Alabama.
